HALASANA
The Sanskrit word “Hala” means “a plough”.The body assumes the shape of a plough in this Asan.Therefore,it is called the Halasan.
Steps :
arwLie on your back. Join the legs together. Relax the whole body (Shavasana position).
arwKeep the palm flat on the ground. Keep breathing normally.
arwWhile exhaling press the palm on ground and raise both the legs upwards straight then try to touch the ground just behind.
arwBreathe slowly and hold the posture for several minutes (1-2 minutes).
arwNow slowly release the pose to return to Shavasana.
arwRepeat this for 3-5 times.

arwStrengthens the abdominal muscles.
