USHTRASAN
The Sanskrit word “Ushtra” means “Camel”.In this Asan, the shape of the neck assumes of the shape of a camel.Therefore, this Asan is called Ushtrasan.
Steps :
arwSit in Vajrasan on a blanket or carpet.Raise yourself on to your knees.
arwKeep ankles and knees a little apart.Now keep your hands on the waist in such a way that your thumbs press the lower part of your back.
arwPush up the chest so that your body assumes the shape of a bow.
arwThis is the final stage of this Asan.You can keep your hands on the lower part of the feet instead of keeping on the ankles or on the groud.
arwBreathe normally.After holding this position for a little while, return to this first position.

arwIt cures the diseases of the chest, lungs and heart.
arwIt reduces the fat on the stomach and waist.
arwIt makes the spine flexible and cure the diseases of the stomach.
arwIt tones up the digestion and strengthens the knees, thighs, arms, waist,back and neck.
